Press Release Body = Students from around the world participate in The Delphian
School's \"Summer at Delphi\" program, which combines personalized academics with fun
& challenging trips and activities.

The Delphian School has opened the doors to its 30th anniversary summer session,
welcoming nearly 300 students from around the world. Students come from all over the
United States, the neighboring countries of Canada and Mexico and as far away as
Japan, Saudi Arabia, China and Taiwan. Students range in age from eight to
eighteen. They come to learn the innovative Study Technology developed by author and
educator, L. Ron Hubbard, to advance their academic or English studies, and to have
lots of fun.

Each day the Delphian School\'s summer camp is divided equally between academics and
activities. The academic program is fully personalized and is addressed to each
student\'s needs or special interests. Classrooms are small, which allows for close
personal attention from instructors and enables students to move at a pace that
results in full comprehension of what is being studied.

Afternoons are filled with activities such as horseback riding, tennis, golf,
volleyball, swimming, basketball, art, music, ceramics and more. Weekends are mostly
reserved for off-campus trips that include white-water rafting on eastern Oregon\'s
Deschutes River and camping at Silver Falls and Newport Beach. There is also a
three-day trip to Seattle for sightseeing, boating and a visit to the \"Experience
Music Project\" for a musical tour through five decades of rock\'n\'roll.

One Upper School student had this to say about his summer at the Delphian School:
\"My biggest achievement has been finding what tripped me up in Algebra 1 and really
understanding it.\"

After studying Learning How to Learn by L. Ron Hubbard, another student said, \"My
biggest success is being able to learn.\"

The Delphian School is an independent, co-educational day and boarding school
offering college preparatory, English-as-a-Second-Language and summer programs for
elementary through high school students. The Delphian School is licensed to use
Applied Scholastics(TM) educational services (http://www.AppliedScholastics.org).
